Jennifer Palermo
Jennifer is the owner and RN Director of Home Sweet Home Health Services, established in 2013. Jenn is originally from Dorchester, now living in Hull Massachusetts with her husband Todd and three children, bringing their shared vision to life through their commitment to compassionate healthcare.

Inspired by her family's journey from Ireland to America, Jennifer has always valued hard work, perseverance, and deep family roots. Since graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University, and becoming a registered nurse and nurse educator in 2003, Jennifer has gained invaluable experience at some of Boston's top hospitals and educational institutions, including Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, Labouré College, and Northeastern University.

Todd Palermo

Todd Palermo is an accomplished Chief Engineer with extensive experience on ships worldwide, providing him with a solid technical foundation and proven leadership skills. He transitioned into pharmaceutical engineering, playing a key role in companies that expanded the COVID-19 vaccine during the pandemic.

Currently, Todd is a business owner, partnering with his wife Jennifer in a home healthcare venture that offers essential support to families. He also serves as a part-time educator teaching Engineering courses from his Alma mater at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, sharing his expertise with aspiring maritime professionals.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Todd is a dedicated hockey coach, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship among young athletes. Residing in Hull with his wife and three young children, he balances his various roles with a strong commitment to family and community.

Melissa Hawes

Melissa M. Hawes, MSN, RN, PCCN joined Home Sweet Home Health Services in 2021 as a Nurse Educator and Visiting Nurse, bringing over 15 years of nursing experience to the role.. Melissa earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Framingham State University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University. Her background includes clinical and leadership roles at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, as well as teaching experience as an adjunct clinical instructor at Northeastern University.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys life at home with her husband and their three children, including a lively set of twins. Family life keeps her grounded and inspired, and she brings that same warmth and dedication to the patients and staff she supports at Home Sweet Home.


Katie Doyle

Katie Doyle joined HSH in 2018, currently serving as our Human Resources Director with over 15 years of management experience in the medical field. Katie brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her strong sense of efficiency, motivation, and insight allows her to excel in today’s fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. Katie's dedication to helping others is evident in her unwavering commitment to ensuring that our operations run at the highest level, enabling our team to effectively serve our clients.

Outside of work, Katie is a proud mother, raising two wonderful children with her husband on the South Shore in Kingston. She enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs, Bailey and Beau. Katie is also a fan of the beach and live music, with a genuine passion for helping others both personally and professionally.

Alicia Baker

Alicia joined HSH in 2022 and has over 20 years of experience in various aspects of home care. She is a dedicated home care scheduler who is passionate about helping others. Alicia takes pride in her problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and ability to connect with clients to ensure they receive the best care possible.

Outside of work, Alicia lives in Weymouth with her husband and two amazing boys. She has a deep love for Cape Cod and the beach, where she can relax, recharge, and make memories with her family.

 

Bella Palermo

Bella joined HSH in 2024 as office manager with over 3 years of managing and scheduling experience. Bella is in our office Monday-Thursday 9 am- 2 pm responding to calls. As well as working on company projects, maintaining client satisfaction, and helping caregivers succeed.

Outside of work, Bella lives in Hull with her supportive boyfriend and energetic boxer, Spike.  She enjoys bar tending, making music, and spending time with friends and family.
